She studied at the University of the East, Philippines and John Oliver Secondary School, Vancouver, BC, and earned diplomas in Computer Programming, Financial Accounting & Taxation, and Payroll HR from BCIT, all while raising a young family.

At the Canada Revenue Agency, CRA, Josephine gained deep expertise in taxation, compliance, estates and trusts, insolvency, and client service through roles as a Taxpayer Services Agent, Collections Officer, and Compliance Officer.

She began her financial career as a Licensed Financial Advisor with Primerica Financial Services, helping clients build life insurance, investment, and wealth strategies. She later served as a Mobile Mortgage Advisor with CIBC, guiding clients through home financing and real estate investment.

Today, as an Independent Financial Broker and CEO of RJ Torres Genwealth Inc., she integrates insurance, investments, and real estate into a holistic wealth strategy, empowering families and business owners to achieve lasting financial security, generational wealth, and a meaningful legacy.
